The Identity and Payments Summit will bring together leaders from the payments, identity and access communities to tackle industry challenges head-on, share first hand how those challenges impact each stakeholder, and provide a platform for all parties to learn and benefit from a more robust ecosystem. Together, we can not just address issues, we can transform the landscape across all industries.
The Secure Technology Alliance is celebrating the success of its Identity & Payments Summit. It brought together a record number of attendees to explore emerging security trends in today’s digital era and the way payments, access, transit and identity converge. More than 420 professionals from nearly 200 organizations gathered in San Diego, California, for the Summit’s immersive education sessions and networking opportunities.
It is the annual event where identity, access, and payments converge. Thought leaders, innovators, fortune 500 companies, and start-ups meet in one place to chart the course for a more secure digital world.
As a member-driven organization, the Secure Technology Alliance embraces convergence, pushing identity and payments forward. It’s two forums – the Identity and Access Forum and the U.S. Payments Forum – join together at the Summit to explore the cross-market technologies and issues.

Mobile driver’s licenses (mDLs) are revolutionizing the way we identify ourselves in the digital age and empowering people to ditch their physical wallets. It’s a secure, contactless and privacy-focused identity credential for age verification, traveling through TSA, online transactions and more!
This was the 15th year and the Summit is stronger than ever. Supported by a member base including more than 200 of the world’s leading identity and payments companies, San Diego became the spot for 2025’s go to event.
We enjoyed engaging keynotes, panels and educational sessions as well as thought leadership from the industry luminaries with a focus on payments and identity trends, mobile drivers license use cases and trends in the transportation sector with a focus on how all of these things are converging to bring a more secure and user friendly ecosystem to the world . We had over 400 attendees who enjoyed the networking opportunities with a diverse group of industry participants, saw product demos in the exhibit hall and actively engaged with secure technology thought leaders.
