Simon Hurry is a Vice President at Visa Inc., responsible for U.S. contactless and contact chip card programs and leading Visa’s contactless rollout in the USA. Simon has over 22 years of experience in the payments industry with a specialized focus on smart card and contactless payments.
Prior to joining Visa, Simon architected smart card clearing and settlement systems at Nedcor Bank in South Africa. He is an active member of the U.S. Payments Forum steering committee and serves on the board of the Secure Technology Alliance.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.
